Colonoscopies can prevent cancer
Re: The article “Colon cancer skews survivor’s life plans”, A-J, March 15.
Your article on Rebecca Ramirez obscures the most important health message: A colonoscopy, if done soon enough, can prevent cancer by removing pre-cancerous “polyps” in the process.
In Rebecca’s case, it wasn’t soon enough for prevention, but was still soon enough for treatment. I pray for her continued good health.
